Brunei Methanol Company Sendirian Berhad ("BMC") is an international joint venture company incorporated in Brunei Darussalam which own and operate Brunei Darussalam's first world class methanol production plant. BMC is looking for dynamic, qualified and competent individual to fill the following vacant position.

1) WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR - 1 POSITION

Responsibilities:
Effectively lead and manage Warehouse Team to meet individual and team deliverables;
Plan, manage and direct warehouse daily operations including optimising Supplier Deliveries’ times for on-time Required on Site (RoS) dates;
Check and inspect condition of all critical and/or insurance and/or high value stocks at least once a month and rectify any deterioration or causes of deterioration to the material immediately; 
Organise and maintain warehouse and inventory yard areas for efficient storage and safe handling of materials including planning for future requirements and capacity;
Accountable for managing Stock-Taking and Inventory Taking activities to ensure materials are fully inventorised and accurately reflected in database;
Work with other departments in the overall Materials Management chain (including SCD, MTD and OPD) to understand, anticipate and plan to meet upcoming material requirements in timely fashion;
Coordinate and oversee all disposal of obsolete/written-off materials with Inventory Analyst and SCD to ensure that the materials are disposed efficiently and in line with BMC HSE and Government regulations and procedures for Bi-Annual Disposal Exercise;
Ensure that all materials for disposal are clearly inventorised and neatly segregated and labelled in Disposal Area (incl. any required protection from elements if stored outside) for effective viewing by potential buyers;
Accountable to ensure that only fully approved materials in any Disposal/Sale by Tender exercise are removed by the successful buyer/disposal party;
Provide on-time inventory holding reports including reports on any damaged or missing materials and discrepancies in stock holding and results of any investigations to rectify the situations;
Support and assist Customers with any ‘RUSH’ materials required during an emergency situation;
Fully utilise Inventory Tracking system (e.g. in SAP) for Materials Management activities (e.g. Goods Receipt, Goods Acceptance, Goods Issue, etc);
Ensure all procedures and documentation are adhered to at all times to ensure fully auditable records of materials movement – any non-compliances must be reported to Department Head for action;
Ensure all records and documentation (including receipts and Delivery Orders) are kept up-to-date and filed/logged according to BMC Compliance requirements;
Ensure all materials, racks and storage areas have sufficient and appropriate labelling to clearly identify the materials for easy retrieval;
Ensure that all materials are handled safely and storage conditions are appropriate (including safe stacking, correct storage orientation, etc);
Ensure that Supplier Deliveries are planned proactively for optimised timely delivery of materials;
Ensure that materials are not kept in Quarantine for longer than stipulated period in procedures  - return to supplier (rejected materials), dispose, refurbish or return to stock;
Action and coordinate with SCD to return any rejected materials to Supplier;
Provide SCD with regular reports on Supplier Performance feedback for Supplier Management (e.g. Supplier material quality, supplier delivery timing, 
Ensure warehouse work areas are appropriately maintained (e.g. drainage channels are clean and unobstructed, ventilation fans are cleaned of dust, shutter doors oiled, etc) in full working condition (including temperature control of cool room for sensitive equipment);
Ensure only authorised personnel are allowed in the storage areas and security of the area is maintained;
Ensure all warehouse equipment are checked, calibrated and certified annually or as per manufacturer’s requirements (e.g. forklift and racks’ weight tolerance integrity);
Ensure all forklift operators have valid forklift licences;
Manage the transition of Project Materials issued out and Materials Return to Stock to ensure full transparency and clear records maintained in order to provide accurate reflection of stock levels at any one time;
Responsible to create and update list of all materials with expiry dates for Monthly Review and action accordingly – ensure that materials are properly arranged and stored so that older materials are utilised first and expired materials are moved to quarantine area while awaiting asset disposal process – once completed ensure material is moved to proper designated disposal area;
Ensure materials are properly handled for disposal including any precautions in the disposal of hazardous waste;
Familiarised and compliant with all Company and Government Regulations (e.g. by Safety Health and Environment Authority (SHENA), JASTRE) and Orders (e.g. Workplace Safety and Health Order 2009 (WHSO), Environmental Protection and Management Order 2016 (EPMO) and upcoming Radiation Protection Order 2018) during all warehouse operations;
Responsible for control of access to materials storage area in Warehouse and Inventory Yard is only to authorised personnel.

 
Eligibility Requirements:
Candidates must either:
  Qualification:
Higher National Diploma in Engineering related field.
 
  Experience:
Minimum Five (5) years working experience in warehousing-related, logistics and distribution field including 3 years’ experience in supervisory role.
Skills and Knowledge Required:

Safety conscious, tidy and meticulous in housekeeping of area;
Excellent attention to detail, organised and systematic in work delivery;

2) WAREHOUSE PLANNER - 1 POSITION

Responsibilities:
Create a Master Materials Catalogue (including all relevant diagrams, drawings & photographs) that covers a full inventory database that records all Materials’ standard data (in alignment with best practices from other Plants and similar industries);
Update catalogue and database on daily basis with changes in material quantities due to Warehouse operations such as Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), Material Returns (MR), Goods Acceptance, Goods Rejection  to reflect accurate Materials stock levels;
Process warehouse operations documents (GR, GI, MR, GA, etc) from Warehouse Officer/Supervisor to update database accordingly on daily basis;
Work closely with other departments in the overall Materials Management chain (including SCD, MTD and OPD) to understand, anticipate and plan to meet upcoming material requirements in timely fashion;
Thoroughly analyse all materials returns from Projects especially STA to review materials’ performance and utilisation (including data on damaged or rejected materials) for lessons to improve future STAs in terms of material lead times and material utilisation trends for STAs; 
Liaise closely with end-user departments to review and list materials for disposal of obsolete/written-off materials on Quarterly basis for Bi-Annual Disposal Exercise;
Ensure that all materials for disposal have fully authorised Write-Off documentation supported by management audit trail prior to proceeding with action and coordination with Warehouse Officer/Supervisor for the physical disposal;
Actively check records and physical stock for potential surplus – challenge end-users on materials’ utilisation and monitor for any indication of over-ordering; 
Ensure all procedures and documentation are adhered to at all times to ensure fully auditable records of materials movement – any non-compliances must be reported to Department Head for action;
Thoroughly utilise all data on material consumption and procurement trends to create realistic/robust Minimum/Maximum levels for stipulated material type that minimises wastage through maximum utilisation of available resources (stock) prior to re-ordering and using lead time data to ensure delivery of materials on-time and avoid congestion of deliveries causing space constraints;
Work closely with warehouse supervisor to confirm delivery and storage location of materials to be loaded in database is updated and accurate;
Issue weekly updates to primary planner end-users (or create link) on availability of materials including Min/Max Levels and respond to end-users on any inventory queries to resolve any gaps in material availability quickly;
Provide Monthly report to Department Head at beginning of month on Inventory Status (e.g. Stock Levels, Special Orders, etc);
Ensure that all materials returned from Projects are fully accounted for in database for accurate reflection of materials stock availability.

Experience:
Minimum Five (5) years working experience in warehousing-related, logistics and distribution field including 3 years’ experience in supervisory role.

Able to work with large amounts of data and identify critical trends and gaps;

Proficient in Data management, Analysis and Report writing;

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access etc.)
