Quantity Surveyor - 1 POSITION

Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Participate in preparation of new service contracts.
  • Liaise and provide commercial awareness to other disciplines (Engineering, Operation, Maintenance, etc.).
  • Review and evaluate star rates including preparing variations to contract and evaluating price escalations of materials.
  • Assist in disputes resolution and provide clear unambiguous contract interpretations to Company Site Representative (CSR), Contract Holder (CH) & Supply Chain Manager (SCM).
  • Evaluate claims submitted by contractors by liaising with CSR, CH, Company Contract Owner (CO) & SCM.
  • Provide assistance to SCM on other post-contract award claims when required.
  • Prepare  final accounts and completion certificates including closing out of the contract.
  • Process contractor’s payments in Company SAP system that includes creating service entries and technical release.
  • Audit the contractor’s monthly valuations and final accounts against contract terms and conditions including site visits to carry out measurements.
  • Relief and support team members, where required.

 
Eligibility Requirements:

Qualification:
·         Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying;
·         Have qualified as a Professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Pertubuhan Ukur, Jurutera & Arkitek or equivalent; AND

Experience:
Minimun five (5) years’ experience in design, civil, mechanical, electrical & instrumentation service contracts in the petrochemical industry is an added advantage.

Contract Officer- 1 POSITION

Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
 
  • Focal Point of Company’s Operational contracting activities from Strategy to Close Out and close engagement of line end-users with regards to their requirements (present and future/anticipated).
  • Responsible for maintenance and on-time updates of Contracts Database and clear document audit trails.
  • Responsible at Pre-Award Stage for supporting the Contract Holder in Strategy development, managing Expressions of Interests and subsequent tendering cycle process (including conducting/facilitating tender briefings, ensuring Tender Evaluation Plans (TEPs) are in place prior to bid opening, clarifications management, and Document Review process adhered to, etc).
  • Responsible for tenders’ Commercial Evaluations and Sensitivity Analyses and combining Commercial and Technical Evaluation results for the final award recommendation as per Manual of Authorities (MOA).
  • Responsible at Post Award to support the Contract Holder in ensuring delivery of Contract Management Plan (CMP) milestones including any Contract Performance Review exercises and KPIs reviews.
  • Responsible in supporting the Contract Holder with any Variations to Contract during the life cycle of the contract and to ensure Close Out process is adhered to.
  • Responsible for ensuring that LBD directive initiatives are incorporated into the tender document and provide active support for LBD activities.
  • Responsible for liaising and engaging with Contract Holders and Endusers for technical advice and with Company’s Legal, Finance and HSE teams for specific contractual support and advice.
  • Responsible for ensuring all changes to Company regulations and requirements (including any Safety related items) are incorporated quickly into tender and contract documents (via Variations).
  • Responsible to flag up any major non-routine issues to SCM for support.
  • Perform any other work tasks assigned by superior(s) in the department.

·         Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering or Quantity Surveying;


·         Have qualified as a Professional member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply, Pertubuhan Ukur Jurutera & Arkitek, Institute of Engineers or Institute of Quantity Surveyors or equivalent is an added advantage; AND
 
Experience:
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in contract management.

Warehouse Planner - 1 POSITION

  • Plan, coordinate and control the activities related to the supply of inventory materials and spare parts, in order to provide the Company with the necessary supplies for its continuous operation.
  • Schedule together with the Warehouse Supervisor and the Finance staff, the execution of annual material inventories, in order to determine the value and quality of goods in the warehouse.
  • Coordinate, control and analyze the data of material and spare parts systems, in order to ensure the effective process of acquisition and handling of materials and to provide financial/accounting information.
  • Administratively define the removal of obsolete and/or damaged materials, both physically and from the system, in order to keep the Material Master database up to date.
  • Issue Inventory Replenishment Order Requests and track these requirements internally, according to MAX, MIN and REORDER POINT.
  • Issue inventory reports and replenishment statuses.
  • Encode and catalog new materials and manage the material catalog (inclusions, exclusions and updates).
  • Keep inventory parameters (MAX, MIN and RERORDER POINT) up to date based on market behavior, user need, consumer trend, purchasing strategies, etc.
  • Participate in the Planning of Scheduled Plant Stops as a link to Maintenance Planning.
  • Execute all activities, with clear cost awareness.
  • Evaluate and plan training programs, continuous improvements, evaluation of action and holiday replacement of staff, in order to ensure adequate personal availability and professional development, in accordance with the guidelines established by MTD.
  • To know and comply with the technical requirements established in the Contracts of the services provided in the operational areas.

IT Technician (Server Operation) - 1 POSITION

  • Perform scheduled maintenance;  perform system diagnostics, configuration, capacity planning and computer security on computer systems and infrastructure; do backups, optimize and support communication equipment, including servers, firewalls, switches, routers, telephony systems and data
  • Monitor server performance, database logs, database resource consumption, and perform periodic database integrity and health checks
  • Perform enterprise data backup, recovery and archiving processes using available software
  • Manage system patches and version upgrades, and regularly tune the database to ensure good performance
  • Troubleshoot problems on connection / server facilities, using software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose problems and factors affecting the network & server performance
  • Monitor server availability and alert support staff or vendors when problems arise
  • Create, add, change and delete user account information, including passwords, on server platforms
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises and keep IT DR Plan up-to-date
  • Provide technical diagnosing and troubleshooting support for end users as well as IT related function and equipments, both in response to reported problems and service request.
  • Software/hardware Installation, configuration & optimization and set up IT related application (Operating System, Software, etc) and equipments (Desktop, Printers, Projectors, etc).

IT Technician (Front End) - 1 POSITION

  • Provide technical diagnosing and troubleshooting support for end users as well as IT related function and equipments, both in response to reported problems and service request.
  • Ensure that IT services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
  • Software/hardware Installation, configuration & optimization and set up IT related application (Operating System, Software, etc) and equipments (Desktop, Printers, Projectors, etc).
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, monitor and upgrades both IT Hardware & Software application.
  • Perform User’s backup and data archiving using available software.
  • Document, prioritize, track and maintain records of IT Service Request, problems and remedial action taken and installation activities.
  • Maintain and update IT Hardware/Software assets listings and tags.
  • Provides basic training to users in terms of basic software skills.
  • Provide a monthly report on progress updates on assigned tasks.
  • Assist in referring major Hardware/Software problems or defective products to Vendors.
  • Research, test and evaluate new technology.
  • Provide support in developing Standard Operating Procedure documentation.
  • Provide support and assistance to other sections in the IT Department.
  • Perform any other work tasks assigned by superior(s) in the department.
