BRUNEI METHANOL COMPANY HOLDS APPRECIATION CEREMONY FOR ATTACHMENT STUDENTS 2016-02-11

An appreciation ceremony was organized for the IBTE instructors of Jefri Bolkiah Engineering College (MKJB). A total of 11 instructors completed a two months attachment program with BMC, throughout 2015 and this event marks their successful completion of their attachment course. Align with the Brunei Darussalam’s Vision 2035; BMC has been supporting the technical education development in Brunei through job attachment programs in the Oil and Gas Industry which is also part of BMC’s Corporate and Social Responsibility initiative. BMC has hosted more than 80 industrial attachment students since its establishment in 2010. The event began with welcoming remarks by Mr Takatoshi Shida; BMC Executive Management member then conveyed his opening speech, followed by the instructors’ presentations on their experiences and knowledge gained during the course of their attachment with several plant and admin functions in BMC. The event ended with presentation of certificates of appreciation to the IBTE instructors.
