On 29 April 2022, Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd (“BMC”) Organised A Handover Of Donations To A Total Of Five Underprivileged Families In Mukim Liang As Part Of BMC’s Annual Assist And Care Programme In Conjunction With The Holy Month Of Ramadhan And Hari Raya Aidilfitri. These Families Were Identified Through The Department Of Community Development (JAPEM), Ministry Of Culture, Youth And Sports.

Our Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Abdul Mu’izz bin Dato Paduka Haji Alikhan, representing the senior management of BMC, presented the donation to the families’ respective homes in the Mukim Liang. Also present at the event was Hj Mohd Ibrahim bin Dato Maharaja Setia Dian, the Village Head of Kampong Sungai Liang and Saifullilah Hj Ahmid, our Corporate Affairs Manager. The donation comprised of necessities generously contributed by the management and our employees. This annual Assist and Care Programme is BMC's initiative to assist in changing lives by giving back to our local communities whilst promoting the spirit of volunteerism and fostering relationships between the local communities and staff. We aim to provide some aid and relief to these families and joy in celebrating Hari Raya.
