BMC BIDS FAREWELL TO HIS EXCELLENCY MR. MAEDA TORU

On 11 December 2024, BMC hosted a farewell lunch in honour of His Excellency Mr. Maeda Toru, the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Brunei Darussalam. The event was attended by BMC’s CEO, Mr. Jesús Enrique Mora Marín, along with the members of the executive management, who expressed their heartfelt appreciation for His Excellency’s contribution to strengthening the relationship between Brunei Darussalam and Japan.


On behalf of BMC, Mr. Mora presented a token of appreciation to His Excellency, acknowledging his unwavering support and dedication to the Company during his tenure.  A gesture reflecting BMC’s deep gratitude for his role in fostering mutual understanding and collaboration.


With 75% of BMC equity held by Japanese corporations, the farewell lunch also provided a meaningful opportunity to honour the enduring ties between Brunei and Japan.


BMC’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jesús Enrique Mora Marín presents a token of appreciation to His Excellency Mr. Maeda Toru, the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Brunei Darussalam.
