BMC JOINS MAULUD NABI PROCESSION

After a three-years hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Brunei Methanol Company participated in the Maulidur Rasul mass gathering and procession to celebrate the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications handed over the certification of participation to Imam Mohd Ikhwan bin Irwandy, Masjid Kampong Sungai Liang.


This significant celebration falls on the 12th Rabiul Awal in the Islamic calendar and was celebrated in unity with the Mukim Lumut-Liang Mosque community members. The procession took place at the Kuala Belait Municipal Field.


The procession, adorned with the spirit of togetherness, showcased BMC’s dedication to standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the community, especially during moments of shared celebration and reflection.


Meanwhile, a women’s gathering convened at the Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Religious School Multi-Purpose Hall, Kuala Belait, where BMC representatives, including staff members, engaged in a religious talk based on the theme “Living a blessed life in accordance with the Sunnah”.

Participants of the Maulud Nabi procession comprised of BMC employees and Mukim Lumut-Liang Mosque community members.
