BMC kicked off the final month of Q4 2024 with a companywide town hall session on 4 December 2024 at the SPARK Mini Theatre. This quarterly event promotes knowledge sharing, employee recognition, and strategic updates, reinforcing our commitment to transparency and engagement at all levels.
The event began with welcoming remarks from our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jesús Enrique Mora Marín, who reflected on the Company’s key achievements in 2024. Employees also received updates on BMC’s progress and strategic priorities, setting the foundation for continued success in the year ahead.
Our Executive Officer, Mr. Akihiko Kiryu, expressed gratitude to three Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Inc (MGC) operators – Mr. Shinya Saito, Mr. Tomotaka Sato, and Mr. Mitsunori Nanao – who will soon conclude their five-month secondment under the MGC Trainer-Trainee Programme on 20 December 2024. Their hands-on training and knowledge sharing contributed to the programme’s goal of enhancing the methanol plant operational experience. Mr. Kiryu thanked them for their valuable contributions and expressed optimism for future collaborations.
Employee recognition took center stage as Mr. Mora presented the HSD Challenge Trophy to the Corporate Planning and Audit Department for their outstanding contributions, including the highest safe card and quiz submission, along with active participation in HSD events. The winners of the Problem-Solving competition, held on 3 December 2024, were also celebrated for their teamwork and innovative process solutions.
At BMC, our people are our greatest assets. As we move into 2025, we remain committed to cultivating a workplace where contributions are valued, achievements are celebrated, and voices are heard.
Let’s continue to inspire, innovate, and achieve greatness—together! 💚
Congratulations to the winners of the Problem-Solving Competition! 🏆🎉
