On 13 September 2024, we successfully organised an internal blood donation drive, in collaboration with the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital (SSBH) Blood Donation Centre under the Department of Laboratory Services. This marks our second blood donation drive this year, demonstrating our commitment to addressing the critical blood shortage affecting the country’s blood reserves.
Our First Aid Room was buzzing with BMC employees and contractors coming together in a display of solidarity and generosity. Thanks to the overwhelming turnout, we collected 43 pints of blood—a contribution that will significantly aid those in urgent need of blood.
Aligned with our CSR strategy #RESPECT, BMC continues to advocate for regular blood donation among our employees and contractors. We recognize the vital role blood donation plays in saving lives and remain dedicated to giving back to the community while supporting the healthcare system’s ability to manage both emergencies and routine medical needs.
A heartfelt thank you to all our donors. Together, we are making a difference – one pint at a time!
