On 2 October 2021, Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd ("BMC") handed over donations of essential medical PPE supplies to the Ministry of Health, in support of the ministry’s initiatives during this COVID-19 pandemic.
The supplies included scrub suits, N95 face masks, face shield, surgical gown, disposable hand gloves and toiletries. The donations were presented by BMC Chief Executive Officer Mr. Kaneshige Kubushiro to Abdul Afiq bin Ahmad Mahmud, Acting Chief Executive Office at Suri Seri Begawan Hospital Kuala Belait and Lieutenant Dya Muhammad Afifi bin Haji Ahmad, Logistic Officer of CHABEL 6 Isolation Centre at Pusat Tingkatan Enam, Kuala Belait.
