
On 17 March 2025, Her Excellency Eve Lubin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Brunei Darussalam, made her first official visit to BMC. The visit aimed to strengthen diplomatic and economic relations between Brunei and the Republic of France, while exploring potential collaboration in the energy and chemical sectors.
Our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jesús Enrique Mora Marín and the executive management team, extended a warm welcome to H.E Eve Lubin. During the visit, H.E was provided with an in-depth overview on our business operations, highlighting our contributions to Brunei’s downstream industry and ongoing initiatives to drive sustainable growth. H.E expressed a keen interest in the Company’s sustainability efforts and commitment to integrating environmentally responsible practices.
The visit also included a tour of our plant facilities, offering firsthand insights into BMC’s production processes.
France, alongside Germany and the United Kingdom, is one of the three European countries with an embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan. This visit highlights the continued significance of deepening diplomatic and economic cooperation between Brunei and France.
