On 25 August 2022, our Chief Executive Officer, Kaneshige Kubushiro and HSSE General Manager, Pg Mohamad Supri Bin Pg Haji Chuchu had the pleasure to attend a luncheon with the stakeholders in Belait District in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) 60th Diamond Jubilee Anniversary organised by the Third Battalion (3Bn) at the Officer’s Mess, Lumut Camp.
Upon arrival, our delegation was welcomed by Major Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Commanding Officer of the 3Bn RBLF. Present as the guest of honour was Mohammad Yassin bin Haji Ahmed, Acting Belait District Officer. Among the invitees were Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Padukaraja Major General (Retd.) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Shari bin Ahmad, former Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, representatives from the government and private agencies in Belait District, Penghulus and Village Heads.
The event commenced with an operation briefing by Major Daud bin Etim, the Deputy Commanding Officer of 3Bn RBLF followed by a group photo session at the exhibition area. A speech was delivered by Major Erawan bin Haji Abu Bakar expressing his gratitude and appreciation to all the attendees. The event was intended to commemorate the RBLF 60th Diamond Jubilee Anniversary, and as part of the annual stakeholder engagement by the 3Bn.
After the Zuhur prayers, the event proceeded with a group photo and concluded with a luncheon at the Officer’s Mess. BMC will continue to strengthen the relationship with 3Bn RBLF as they maintain the security of Brunei Darussalam and defend the legacy of military regimentation.
