On 16 October 2024, BMC welcomed the Director of Pusat Pekerjaan Brunei (PPB) (formerly known as JobCentre Brunei), Ms. Hajah Noraini binti Haji Mohd Jamudin, along with her team for a productive discussion on strengthening workforce development and addressing recruitment challenges, including labour market mismatch issues.
Our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jesús Enrique Mora Marín, and Human Resource General Manager, Mr. Lim Boon Ming, along with the HR team, showcased to the PPB delegation our ongoing commitment in supporting the i-Ready Apprenticeship Programme, an initiative introduced by the government of His Majesty the Sultan, which BMC has actively been supporting since 2021 leading to successful job placements.
The visit reinforced both parties’ shared commitment to developing local talent and improving the employability of Brunei’s workforce.
We look forward to strengthening our collaboration with PPB to align talent development efforts, ensuring a sustainable and empowered local workforce that contributes to the nation’s economic growth.
